Summer is typically a period of rest and recreation, but not for our team. During the last few months, the AEM and SUPSI team successfully connected the Lugaggia’s Kindergarten to community’s homes in order to allow the sharing of solar energy.
At the same time we installed the battery in the kindergarten’s technical rooms to increase the share of local energy within the community. Finally we have equipped the main cabinet of each house with an intelligent adapter, which will allow to further increase the use of renewable energy during the project.
From October 1st the community is operational and everything is ready for experimentation.
